At the heart of the selection are Stéphane Regnault's Lydien N°80 (disgorgement 2023) and Dorien N°45 (disgorgement 2022): two hard-to-find cuvées that I prefer to set aside for tasting as soon as they arrive. Having them together means you can enjoy a rare opportunity to compare two interpretations of Chardonnay by the same winemaker.

Around them, I have chosen three Blanc de Blancs that complete the journey: Vazart-Coquart, Doyard-Mahé, and Laherte Frères. Five bottles to open with curiosity, perhaps with the right friends, to discover how many nuances Chardonnay can have in Champagne.
