Five vintages of Nosiola, two producers and a journey through time with one of Trentino's most fascinating indigenous grape varieties.

Nosiola is often described as a simple, fresh white wine to be drunk young. But are we sure that's all there is to it?

We have selected five vintages of Salvetta Nosiola, from 2015 to 2023, to discover how this grape variety can evolve over time, developing complexity, structure and aromatic depth.

Salvetta, a historic winery in the Valle dei Laghi, expresses Nosiola through skin maceration, spontaneous fermentation and aging in acacia barrels. Wines capable of defying time and revealing a decidedly unexpected side of Trentino.

Completing the selection is Villa Persani's 2022 Raetica, an organic Nosiola from the Pressano hills, also skin-macerated, but with a different, fresher and more immediate style.
