Alba Rosé - Azienda Agricola Sofi
Rosato made from Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, Nocera and a small amount of Nero d’Avola, sourced from vineyards in Faro Superiore (Messina).
The vines are trained on fan-shaped spur-pruned cordons and low-trained single stems, with manual harvesting and bunch selection in the vineyard.
This is followed by whole-bunch pressing, with a 55% must yield and 100% spontaneous fermentation in steel.
It is aged for 6 months in steel and a further 4 months in the bottle to preserve freshness and aromatic complexity.
A rosato of elegance and precision, where the mineral backbone and the delicacy of the native Sicilian grape varieties find balance and character.
Rosa di Beba
Rosato made from indigenous Tuscan grapes (Canaiolo, Mammolo, Ciliegiolo, Sangiovese and other ancient varieties) from restored historic vineyards in Anghiari at approximately 500 m above sea level.
Spontaneous fermentation and aging: 1/3 in wood, 1/3 in steel, and 1/3 in terracotta amphorae. Bottled without fining or filtration.
Intense copper color, aromas of red fruits, orange peel and medicinal herbs; on the palate structured, saline and persistent.
An expression of the scattered vineyard project and the protection of local viticultural biodiversity.
